We followed directions, so everyone's finished product looked pretty much the same.
Before:

After:

Alterations included:
1. changing color of a selected area: we tinted the shorts orange.
2. using the clone stamp tool: we took the logo off the sweatshirt.
3. adding text: we were required to put our names across the picture in a dark green font with 50% opacity.
4. Filled in the background color.

Part 2 of the assignment allowed us to choose any picture and make similar alterations to it:
Before:

After:

Alterations included:
1. changing color of a selected area: I selected the eyes, and made the inverse black and white.
2. using the clone stamp tool to take an area out, or replace color: I took the antennae of the lady bug and the crease out of the stem going up the baby's outfit as well.
3. adding text: added the word "baby" in the bottom left corner.
